Who We Are

Debt Reduction Plan is a group about 600 employees strong and growing – known internally as "The Freedom Family". We’re energetic, smart & compassionate - but most importantly we’re all about helping our customers through a tough financial time in their lives. We were founded in 2002 by Stanford Business School graduates Andrew Housser and Brad Stroh and since then we have built the best management team around. Freedom works out of three offices in San Mateo, CA., Sacramento, CA., and Phoenix, AZ. Our customers, 40,000 and growing, are spread widely across the United States.

Our Mission

To provide financial solutions, service and education enabling consumers to reduce debt, build wealth and achieve financial freedom.

What We Do

We help people improve their financial well being. This might mean helping consumers get out of debt for the least possible personal cost or it might be conducting financial consultations, educating the consumer and recommending the appropriate solution. Our core services offer an alternative to bankruptcy, credit counseling, and debt consolidation. We approach the business from the human perspective and represent the consumer exclusively (not the banks or other agendas) – we become your number one advocate helping you re-establish solid financial footing as quickly as possible.

Responsible and Proven Leadership

Debt Reduction Plan is committed to elevating the standards of our industry and we place the appropriate emphasis on our responsibility for our valued customer base. We are on the Board of Directors of the leading debt settlement industry association, AFCC, focused on elevating business standards and industry regulation. We are settling tens of thousands of debt accounts with 45-50% average settlements.
